Polish ensemble Bastarda - featuring Paweł Szamburski on clarinet, Tomasz Pokrzywiński on cello and Michał Górczyński on bass clarinet - perform modern reinterpretations of medieval music rituals for the dead, where last rites over the grave, chants and polyphony were woven together in deeply symbolic ways.
