Ryan Alexander Diduck

Ryan Alexander Diduck is an author, scholar, lecturer and critic, and Doctor of Communication Studies at McGill University. His 2015 doctoral dissertation was the first cultural history of MIDI, later published as Mad Skills: MIDI and Music Technology in the Twentieth Century at Repeater Books. Ryan is a columnist at CultMTL, his writing has appeared in The Wire, The Quietus and Fact Magazine. He lives in Montréal, and is currently working on a book exploring the relationship between the soft drink and music industries.
