Jenny Hval and Susanna Wallumrød are two of the most celebrated Norwegian singers and songwriters, each with distinct yet complementary voices and musical styles. Their collaboration started in 2009, with this year’s “Meshes of Voice” album as its culmination. The music is inspired by Maya Deren’s iconic experimental film “Meshes of the Afternoon”, and the result is an ethereal combination of sublime melodies and harmonies, with engulfing reverb and noise. Jenny and Susanna will appear on stage together with Stine Janvin Motland and Heida Mobeck.
