Chris Abrahams is a renowned pianist from Australia, one third of The Necks. Before his band’s show with Radian at Unsound, Abrahams will perform “Dream” by John Cage, a minimalist piece originally written in 1948 for the dancer/choreographer Merce Cunningham. Short yet otherworldly, “Dream” follows a single melodic line, making use of a fixed gamut of tones and sustained resonances.
