The Unsound opening party is a mix of live acts and DJ sets. The live shows come from Brooklyn coldwave duo Xeno & Oaklander as well as Italian percussion unit Ninos du Brasil, fusing punk, techno and Brazilian carnival music. DJ sets come from Unsound friends and family: Philip Sherburne, Eltron John and Warna. This event takes place in a temporary club called The Lucid Dreamers Association, set up by Unsound and Pauza.
