Celebrated Norwegian vocalists/songwriters Jenny Hval and Susanna Wallumrød each have distinct yet complementary voices and musical styles. Their collaboration began in 2009, with this year’s “Meshes of Voice” album as its culmination. The music, inspired by Maya Deren’s iconic experimental film “Meshes of the Afternoon”, is an ethereal combination of sublime melodies and harmonies with engulfing reverb and noise. Jenny and Susanna will perform with Stine Janvin Motland and Heida Mobeck.
