Fis is a producer from New Zealand, who first appeared on the radar thanks to his experimental drum & bass tracks on such labels as Samurai Horo and Exit. His sound has evolved with recent Tri Angle EPs, pushing towards amorphous and ambiguous music with sparse and abstract drum programming, as well as bass-heavy textures. This change has culminated with the release of his debut album "The Blue Quicksand Is Going Now", where beats are buried deeply in the mass of grainy, awe-inspiring sounds. Fis appeared at Unsound 2015 with a surprise show.
