At the heart of this evening's club program is legendary German dub-techno duo Porter Ricks (Thomas Köner & Andy Mellwig), who came out of live gig retirement especially to perform at Unsound Festival Krakow last October. Also appearing is another artist formerly of the label Chain Reaction, Finland’s Vladislav Delay, an electronic musician who has recorded as Luomo, Sistol, Uusitalo and Conoco. Based in Brooklyn, fractured house renegade Ital (known for two acclaimed albums on Planet Mu) will be joined by Aurora Halal for a worldwide live debut performance as Ital & Halal, while Leisure Muffin, fresh off releasing his first ever 12-inch single on The Bunker’s new record label, will perform his modular-synth-infected take on kosmische music. Looking back to Europe, Miles is one half of Demdike Stare, known equally well for his solo output and unique DJ sets. Making his New York debut is another Norwegian addition to the festival, Le Petit Garçon, presenting his take on isolated ambient techno.
