On closing night, respected Polish experimental label Bocian Records showcase their roster. Opening for them is avant-garde Polish duo Kaptial, fusing the two disparate musical worlds of electro-acoustic music and extreme psychedelic guitar. Acclaimed Norwegian free-jazz drummer Paal Nilssen-Love follows, then Australian noise/ experimental duo James Rushford & Joe Talia will perform with strings, percussion, keyboards, synthesizers and recording devices. Known for their recent album “Manhunter”, their work developed from a familiarity with spectralist, concrète, free improvised, avant-garde and collagist languages.
