Pianohooligan AKA Piotr Orzechowski, is rapidly becoming one of the most prominent European pianists of his generation. Based in Krakow, he first came to international attention after winning the Montreux Jazz Solo Piano Competition in 2011, and since then has worked with Adrian Utley (Portishead), Skapel and released the critically acclaimed album "Experiment: Penderecki", reworking pieces by Penderecki. This was described as a “superb, creative interpretation” by the composer himself, and it’s this material that Orzechowski will present at Unsound London.
