Klein is one of the most exciting new artists to emerge from London’s art underground. Her singular music is a combination of Internet-informed collages, sounds rooted in her Nigerian upbringing, gospel and r&b. Her self-released albums “Only” and “Lagata” are a true testament to how unpredictable and playful her songs be. To give just one example, “Marks of Worship” is a delicate ambient track featuring a WhatsApp sermon sent from her Nigerian aunt.
