Presentation: Make Some Space

In times of fragmentation, the small communities we create in the physical world are more important than ever, even as they are threatened by gentrification, especially in cities. Author Emma Warren brings to life her book Make Some Space - about London’s influential Total Refreshment Centre - and uses it to explain why we need places to gather and how we can protect the venues and the communities we love by documenting our own culture, making this an act of resistance.
