French electroacoustic artist Félicia Atkinson recorded her last album while pregnant on tour. Each day and night, finding herself far from home, she made music exploring the relationship between inner and outer worlds, which she will now present at Unsound. One of the best instrumental bands in the world, Australian avant-jazz trio The Necks are known for longform improvised pieces exploring the most hypnotic qualities of sound. Tonight, their unique vision will fuse with Sinfonietta Cracovia’s full orchestral sound, led by renowned Israeli conductor Ilan Volkov of Tectonics. Philip Sherburne will play an ambient/experimental set as the audience enters.

As it will take a long time to get everyone down, please try to be in Wieliczka as soon as the doors open, or you risk missing the start of the concert or not getting in (the door closes at 7.30pm). Train to Wieliczka leaves from Kraków Główny station at 5:09pm. You can return to Kraków Główny on the 304 city bus.
