Kino Kijów was built in the 1960’s, the biggest cinema in Kraków with state-of-the-art facilities, one of just a few in Poland at the time to employ a stereo sound system. A standout example of Kraków modernist architecture, its architect was Witold Cęckiewicz, who also designed Hotel Cracovia alongside.
