Hevre is located in the former Chewra Thilim synagogue in Kazimierz. Built in late 19th-century, it was operating until World War II. After that, the building became the HQ for the “Krakowiacy” song and dance ensemble, and is now a popular cafe. The polychrome paintings of Biblical scenes are still visible today.
