Hyph11e b2b Slikback

Hyph11e is one of the key artists representing the exciting Shanghai scene. Her debut EP Vanishing Cinema was released in 2017 by SVBKVLT, exploring noisy and mechanical sounds of club music beyond the rhythmic constraints of any genre. Although coming from a different background, this approach is also close to Slikback’s practice. They will play a special b2b set that follows up their meeting in China earlier this year. The Kenyan artist spent a month there on SVBKVLT’s invitation, touring and spending time in the studio with like minded artists. Hyph11e and Slikback play as part of the SVBKVLT and Nyege Nyege program.
