In the world premiere of a brand new show, pioneering German electronic music producer Burnt Friedman joins forces with Portuguese percussionist João Pais Filipe. Burnt is best known for his work with Uwe Schmidt as Flanger, as well as a series of albums with the late Jaki Liebezeit, and his unique approach to working with many genres, drawing on various influences to create music that lives outside of any one place. João is one of the staples of the Porto experimental music scene, a member of HHY & The Macumbas and an exquisite drummer who blurs the line between human precision and automation. The duo will release a new collaborative album next year.
