The late, great Mark Fisher’s k-punk blog redefined cultural criticism with its blend of pop culture, philosophy, politics, and his influence can be seen across music, art and literature. His new book k-punk, released by Repeater Books, will premiere at Unsound. It contains blog posts, music, film and TV reviews, essays, and the unfinished introduction to what was to be his next book, Acid Communism. Mark's voice and ideas are sorely missed by many - these two reading groups provide an opportunity to remember and celebrate his work in an intimate context, through close readings of some of his most important writings. The first group led by Gabriela Korwin-Piotrowska and Patrick Leftwich from ≋h≋o≋m≋a≋r≋ collective will explore the problem of outsideness with its theoretical, and political dimensions.
