Kelman Duran is from the Dominican Republic, but currently lives and works in Los Angeles. His music is a fiery fusion of Afro-Caribbean rhythms with a political bent. One of the main inspirations for his music is the Haitian revolution, which had a huge impact on his debut album of ethereal reggaeton, 1804 KIDS.
