Renowned perfumer Geza Schoen is best known for his Escentric Molecules series. He’s also the nose behind Ephemera, a series of scents, installations and live performances developed by Unsound, inspired by the sounds/genres of Bass, Noise and Drone. This year sees the development of a new scent, Foris, inspired by the field recordings of Chris Watson, and the sonic preservation of endangered ecosystems in the era of the anthropocene. The perfume will be part of a brand new multisensory installation/performance at this year’s festival, produced by Unsound.
