The first evening in Manggha starts with a collaboration between Unsound regulars Wacław Zimpel and Kuba Ziołek—from the group Stara Rzeka—fusing lush psychedelic music of electronic and acoustic origins. Siksa’s radical and brutally honest performances are smashing the patriarchy one gig at a time. Posh Isolation’s Puce Mary hails from Denmark via Los Angeles and rips into the middle of the night with immersive industrial sounds that explore dominance and submission. Closing is the extreme Polish noise band BNNT joined by Swedish saxophone player Mats Gustafsson.
Wacław Zimpel presented with the SHAPE Platform.
