Two starkly different landscapes explored via audiovisual shows. Vincent Moon will present the live cinema version of Híbridos, an "experimental-etnographic study of current-day spiritual cults in Brazil, mixing tradition and modernity." The show will include musician Rabih Beaini on electronics and effects. The preceding project After its own death, was born during a residency for Unsound Dislocation: Murmansk, located in the Russian Arctic. Created by Nivhek (Liz Harris/Grouper) with MFO, the paradoxically minimalist, harsh, and dreamlike work will explore landscape, nostalgia, and isolation. The show is commissioned by Unsound, the Barbican and Goethe-Institut, with Murmansk partners Fridaymilk.
