The DJ and promoter Slava Lepsheev is the founder of Cxema, the prime Ukrainian DIY rave thrown in industrial spaces on Kyiv’s outskirts. Created in the aftermath of the Euromaidan revolution, the party filled a void in the city’s nightlife, creating a unique community of music and fashion lovers, as well as people disenchanted with the current political climate.
