Khyam Allami

Iraqi-British multi-instrumentalist Khyam Allami focuses on the development of contemporary and experimental practice based on the fundamentals of Arabic music, concentrating on tuning and microtonality. Primarily an Oud player, he is also a composer, researcher, founder of Nawa Recordings, as well as a software designer. 

At Unsound 2021 Khyam Allami will perform as a part of Weavings, conceived and curated with Nicolás Jaar.
