Mun Sing

Harry Wright is best known as one half of Bristol-based DIY techno duo Giant Swan, but his solo productions have cracked open a different side of his artistic personality. This year's 'Inflatable Gravestone' is his most personal work to date, unraveling the grief he felt when his father died suddenly in 2020 and contemplating the importance of humor and distraction as coping mechanisms. Using brittle, metallic percussion, cartoonish samples and sickly, lackadaisical vocals from MX World, Mun Sing paints a hallucinogenic landscape that's as inspired by the Art of Noise as it is Kyary Pamyu Pamyu.
