Kat Zavada

Artist, researcher, academic and digital art curator Kat Zavada is part of the cyber-feminist Nerdka Collective, and currently stationed in Kraków, building out her PhD entitled 'Technofeudalism - cartographies of digital monarchies' at the city's Academy of Fine Arts. Fascinated by the politics of software and the power dynamics of data management and digital identity, Zavada examines memes, digital newsletters and online hierarchies, using her research to drive video essays, research projects, sound art and performances that she's presented across Europe.
