Heinali’s Synthtap

In(ter)vention sees Heinali present Synthtap, with Kraków tap dancer Beata Kędzia-Sowa.

Beata Kędzia-Sowa has dedicated her life to promoting tap dance as a versatile style and moving past its hackneyed stereotype. Since 2009, the dancer, choreographer and instructor has been working to bring together Kraków's tap dance community, and founded MyTap, the first and only school of its kind in the city. At MyTap, Kędzia-Sowa has developed eight fully tap dance-based performances, and during her 14-year career she's completed more than 50 choreographies involving tap, bringing the form to AST National Acadamy of Theatre Arts in Kraków.
