Description
Lee Brackstone has worked in UK publishing since the mid 1990s. As an editor at Faber and Faber, he worked with authors such as Ted Hughes, Edna O’Brien and Teju Cole, and invigorated the publishing house’s music list with books that are now classics of the genre, including titles by Viv Albertine, Simon Reynolds and Kim Gordon. In 2019 he set up White Rabbit Books, a literary imprint dedicated to adventurous writing relating to music. Its titles have topped bestseller lists, including memoir, fiction and non-fiction by Carl Cox, Mark Lanegan, David Keenan, Vashti Bunyan and many more. Brackstone talks about inspiration, process and the magic of writing with writer and broadcaster Jennifer Lucy Allan.
