Presentation: A/V Lineages – The Life and Work of Stanislaus Ostoja-Kotkowski

The incredible output of Polish-born artist Stanislaus Ostoja-Kotkowski constitutes perhaps the single richest vein of historical audio-visual experimentation in Australia. Working with lasers and audio-visual kinetics from the very beginning of that technology, Ostoja-Kotkowski was a radical thinker with a keen understanding that the technology itself was less important than the access it gave to the creative process.
