“Gletschermusik” is a special cross-border collaborative project created by musicians Robert Lippok (To Rococo Rot, solo output on Raster-Noton) and Kyrgystan’s Askat Jetigen, with visual artist Lillevan. Together they blend field recordings of melting glaciers in Central Asia with electronic music, traditional Kyrgyz instruments and song. “Gletschermusik” was performed at Unsound Dislocation: Bishkek and the performance in Krakow will serve as the European record release concert for their album.
