GAIKA is a London-based vocalist, producer, perfomer and visual artist who blends many genres in an eclectic mix of dancehall, grime, r&b and hip-hop. GAIKA’s work pitches itself against police brutality and British colonialism, taking street music to a completely new level. His mixtapes “Machine” and “Security” are among the most exciting releases of recent months, creating an atmosphere of dread and tension, reflecting on the hardships of a young black male through a novel mix of gothic and Carribean aesthethics.
