2011 has been something of a landmark year for Bristolian Nick Edwards, the alien-dub transmitter, Ekoplekz. From a triumphant first vinyl splash on Punch Drunk, Eko parked up at Fountain Square (Mordant Music) then launched an almighty collection for the same label. 110 minutes deep, bleeding across four sides of Ferrous Cassette, lo-fidelity liquid improvisations pitched across audio-time somewhere between Richard H Kirk, Daphne Oram and King Tubby.

The squalling beauty of “Live at Dubloaded” soon seeped its way onto vinyl, as did a handful of exclusive MM emissions. Now as we ghost our way into Autumn the hugely anticipated Intrusive Incidentalz Vol.1 LP (Punch Drunk) is upon us. Edwards brings these corrosive vibrations to Fenik’s Bar, to Unsound, to Krakow for an electric live set that once heard will never leave your Memowrekz.
