LXMP
LXMP is a musical project of the "two best-dressed people in Warsaw," Piotr Zabrodzki and Macio Moretti, better known in some circles as the rhythm section of Baaba or as 60 Minut Projekt, a 60-minute drum’n’bass duo.
A description of the project from the Lado ABC website is as follows: "Using the basic set of drums, bass guitar and two MS-20 synthesizers, Piotras and Macias are trying to recall the memories of romantic strolls across downtown Warsaw allotments, unexplained absences from phys-ed classes or the taste of snow in far-away mountain resorts."
On May 14, the duo’s debut album "Trois Suites + Une Miniature" was released by the Lado ABC. The end of 2011 will see the release of their album as a trio with Chad Popple of Collosamite fame.
For Unsound, LXMP will perform a reinterpretation of Herbie Hancock's classic album "Future Shock."
