Schola Cantorum Reykjavik Chamber Choir is a chamber choir of 12 singers based in Hallgrímskirkja (Hallgrim's Church) in Reykjavík. The group often appears as a small ensemble of 6 singers, especially when presenting renaissance music. Their repertoire also consists of baroque and contemporary music, including numerous premier performances of works by Icelandic contemporary composers. Schola cantorum has held concerts in Norway, Finland, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. They have also performed several times with alternative band Sigur Rós and Björk both domestically and abroad. They appear on the recent releases of Swedish duo Wildbirds & Peacedrums providing choral arrangement, and will perform live at their show with Krakow's OCTAVA Ensemble.
