Norwegian producer Beatbully is one of the main artists releasing on the excellent Dødpøp label, based in Oslo and known for pushing further the genre known as Skweee. Originating in Finland but now spread across Scandinavia, Skweee combines simple synth leads and basslines with funk, r'n'b, electro and 8-bit to create a stripped-down yet funky sound. Beatbully performs live at Unsound with label-mate Melkeveien.
