Carlos Giffoni is a Venezuelan artist, who resides in the New York City area. He is a central point in the experimental music scene in the USA, known for both his own music and as a curator. He has a large body of work, much of it made in collaboration with other artists, involving various types of synthesis, extreme modular manipulation, rewired instruments, improvisation and live re-sampling. His last album was "Severence", released on Hospital Productions and drawing on both experimental and 20^th century synthesizer music. Carlos is the curator of the renowned No Fun Fest in New York City and also founder of the labels No Fun Productions and Not No Fun. At Unsound Festival 2010, Carlos will not only perform, he will also curate a No Fun-related event.
