Hildur Guðnadóttir is an Icelandic cellist and composer. On her first solo album, "Mount A", she played all the instruments, including viola da gamba, harp and vocals. Her second solo album was released on Touch. Hildur has also performed with many musicians and bands, including Mum, Ben Frost, Pan Sonic, Angel, Johann Johannson, Nico Muhly and many others. She recently co-composed a live soundtrack to Derek Jarman's 1980 film "In The Shadow of The Sun" with legends Throbbing Gristle. Hildur will perform in a trio at Unsound with Adam Wiltzie, and will also conduct a mixed Icelandic/Polish choir perorming choral music she arranged for songs by Swedish duo Wildbirds & Peacedrums.
