One of the few females at the top of a field largely populated with young men, Ikonika has released a series of 12 “’s on Kode9’s Hyperdub label, each treading the line between bleep, electro and dubstep, which have earned her deep respect. Her debut album will be released at the end of 2009, which will undoubtedly make her name more visible to the wider public.
