Finnbogi Pétursson
Finnbogi Pétursson was born in Reykjavik in 1959, where he continues to work and live. His installations explore an interest in sound-images and the interplay between the senses. They often make use of phenomena such as water, fire, shadow and light to create sound. Pétursson has had solo shows in many cities, including Reykjavik’s The Living Art Museum, the National Gallery of Iceland and the 2001 Venice Biennale.
