Unlike any other band, Radian have distilled and stripped back the idea of post rock to a pure form that is minimal, contemplative and experimental. They do this by mixing electronic production and traditional rock instruments, resulting in a sound much resembling an electronic act. The precision and meticulous arrangement of the music is created by a trio made up of electronics, percussion and bass. They have released three albums on Thrill Jockey, the latest being “Chimeric”. The trio was formed in 1996 in Vienna.
