Elegi is the project of Norwegian composer Tommy Jansen, who creates a haunting form of digital chamber music for instruments, noise and field recordings. His 2007 album "Sistereis" is a soundtrack for sinking ships, while 2009's "Varde" is a soundtrack for the doomed 1912 voyage of Robert Falcon Scott to the South Pole. Elegi's appearance at Unsound is part of the showcase of the Norwegian label Miasmah, on which he releases.

He will not only perform a collaborative project with Krakow soprano Jolanta Kowalska and cello player Marcin Laczynski, he will also participate in a performance with fellow Miasmah label artist Marcus Fjellström and Sinfonietta Cracovia.
