Unsound is coming to Brussels for the first time, in partnership with Bozar, on 14th and 15th of February 2025

On 14 and 15 February 2025, Unsound Festival makes its debut in Brussels with a two-day program that promises to captivate audiences.

The festival begins on 14 February at Bozar, showcasing the innovative sounds of Polish composer Piotr Kurek and his album Smartwoods – with visuals based on animated paintings of Tomasz Kowalski; the multidisciplinary artistry of Ego Death – the duo of French experimentalist Aho Ssan and Polish cellist Resina; and the experimental rap of UK artist Rainy Miller, presenting his new work Joseph, What Have You Done, which premiered during Unsound Kraków earlier this year.

On 15 February, Bozar continues to host an inspiring line-up featuring Polish guitarist Raphael Rogiński joined by Lithuanian-Belgian singer and kanklės player Indrė Jurgelevičiūtė presenting their album Žaltys; the hauntingly beautiful audiovisual project Гільдеґарда (Hildegard) by Ukrainians Heinali & Yasia; and AKA HEX, the new collaboration between Aïsha Devi and Slikback.

All concerts at Bozar will take place in the Terarken room – Specifically designed to host electronic artists and performances, the venue accommodates 400-500 people in an open, unseated, underground space.

The festival wraps up in style on the evening of 15 February with a club night at Reset, offering an electrifying lineup featuring dj sets by Slikback, 2K88 b2b ojoo, gummi and much more to be announced in January.

A joint effort by Bozar, Unsound and with the support of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Unsound Brussels is a not-to-be-missed event celebrating experimental music and cross-cultural collaboration.
