Crate digger, DJ and promoter gummi has been an active participant in a wide range of musical events over the years. He's the co-organizer of Warsaw's unconventional GUNGE series of shows, and as a selector, takes a similarly dim view of genre purity. Focusing on unpredictability and mood rather than tempo or style, gummi swerves through experimental, ambient, jungle, trap, footwork and jersey club, always keeping a beady eye on the dancers.
Brussels-based artist and DJ M I M I explores her Afro-European cultural heritage through different media. She’s been active in the music scene with DJ collective Lait de Coco and as DJ for Martha Da’ro, as well as once a month on The Word Radio. Cosmic electronic sounds, bewitching rhythms, percussions, all that blended with the hottest tracks of today.
Experimental producer Przemysław Jankowiak (aka 2K88) stirs the remnants of bass-heavy UK club music with '90s and '00s Polish rap nostalgia. Jankowiak describes his debut 2K88 album SHAME in Mixmag as “an album where I draw heavily from what I most value in the UK sound, but I also inweave in stories, emotions, and character that have been an inseparable part of my background from the beginning of my career,”. Brussels-based Moroccan DJ ojoo is an eclectic selector who digs through dancehall, reggaeton, grime and dub in search of the tightest, twistiest rhythms, stirring her mixture with powdery noise and atmospheric ambience.
French DJ, artist and producer Crystallmess stands out with her abrasive attacks on the dancefloor. Her DJ sets are uncompromising, ranging from hardcore rap to footwork, and have been featured everywhere from Berghain to Primavera to Frank Ocean’s Coachella show.. Sega Bodega, Chilean-Irish artist and producer notable for his solo career as well as his productions for the likes of Björk, Shygirl and Caroline Polachek goes b2b with UK heavyweight Lee Gamble. Since the early 2000s, the Brit has been reanimating dreams and hallucinations in his compositions. His latest album Models was described by Pitchfork as "like ghosts trying to communicate their unfinished business."
Kenyan-born, Poland-based Slikback is one of the world's most adventurous producers, taking elements from the wide spectrum of club, noise, ambient and rap musics and forming them into a psychedelic lattice of high intensity sounds and emotions.
Like the tracks she plays, aya commands the desk with a joyous presence and sharp intuitiveness. A self-described “hypegirl”, aya continues to champion their distinctive sound, faithfully meshing their bass-y roots and floor-ready drive, mixing slapstick-like cheekiness with serious club music.
Olivia is one of Unsound’s resident DJs and one of the biggest movers on the Krakow club scene and abroad, including performances at Dekmantel and Tresor. She has developed a trademark style that couples razor-sharp technical skills with an eclectic but interconnected approach to the music she mixes. She goes b2b with Shoplifter, a Belgian DJ who is connecting the dots between uk club, bass-heavy fast drums, dubby rhythms and breakbeat.
