Yen Tech

Yen Tech is a Korean-American rapper, singer and producer based in Shanghai, where he’s working on his new album Hypercanto for the SVBKVLT label - and he appears as part of their showcase. The new release deals with a vision of accelerated (post-)humanism and will be premiered through a live show, presenting nightmare scenarios of exponential technology. He has compared his previous works to immersive theater, or next-gen gaming, while his new guise will be more personal, a fractured diary of a man on the edge of post-human neurosis.
