Kukangendai & Hubert Kostkiewicz

Kukangendai is a Japanese rock trio releasing on Sunn O)))’s Stephen O’Malley’s label Ideologic Organ. Their most recent record, Palm, is very minimalistic and disciplined, using repetition and pauses to create otherworldly compositions. The band will perform together with Hubert Kostkiewicz from The Kurws, following a residency in Kyoto where they came up with a common improvisational tongue. This collaboration was initiated by Avant Art Festival.
