Anna Marjankowska

Anna Marjankowska your employer’s worst nightmare. She is a researcher of modern working conditions with a focus on the field of art and culture, an after-school program teacher, labour organiser, delegate of Industrial Workers of the World (IceROC) and board-member of the Efling Trade Union in Iceland. In March 2019 she co-organised the basic workers strikes in Iceland, and now is working on creating an organisation of Polish workers abroad and establishing the first freelancers’ union in Iceland. The author of interviews and reviews published in Znak and Dwutygodnik.com, she is based in Reykjavík, while also living as a virtual being in Kraków.
