TIMES

TIMES (The Independent Movement for Electronic Scenes) is a cooperative project that brings together 10 European festivals and an audiovisual partner to create original performances that combine music and visual arts. As well as shared programming of artists and the project's original creations, TIMES aims to support, promote, and improve diversity and sustainability within the music sector. TIMES is a collaboration between: Berlin Atonal, Elevate, Insomnia, Le Guess Who?, Nuits Sonores, Reworks, Semibreve, Sónar, Terraforma, Unsound and our audiovisual partner Creative Broadcast. The project is a successor to the We are Europe cooperation (2015–2022) and is co-funded by the European Union.

Chris Watson & Izabela Dłużyk’s Białowieża and Saint Abdullah, Eomac & Rebecca Salvadori’s A Forbidden Distance are both commissioned by Unsound, Atonal, Semibreve and Sónar as part of the TIMES project The Crossing.

At Unsound 2024, Berlin Atonal and Le Guess Who? have been invited to participate in the curation of part of the program.

Artists co-curated by TIMES festivals are CRYSTALLMESS + OXHY and DJ Anderson Do Paraíso with Le Guess Who?, and Lord Spikeheart, Laurel Halo presents Atlas feat. Leila Bordreuil by Berlin Atonal. Actress b2b Skee Mask and Rafael Toral are co-curated by Reworks Festival.
