Unsound news Day 7

Welcome to Day 7 of Unsound! The latest ticket summary is here, the timetable is available on our app on the App Store or Play Store, and on our website.

Start your Saturday with Marco Fusinato’s DESASTRES, a durational performance for guitar and visuals at Kino Kijów from noon to 15:30. Feel free to come and go as you please. Tickets online until start time and then available at the door - and your festival pass gets you in.

On the more relaxed side, join W Brzask’s Krzysztof Bagiński for a calming set at Puro Kazimierz’s Ambient Brunch, where you can also grab a coffee or bite to eat. Meanwhile, from noon until 16:00, Betel Club will host an independent label fair – including the Unsound label! Come say hi at our booth - 2K88 will pass by to sign some copies of SHAME as well.

At 15:00, the ICE theatre hall opens its doors for CLATTER (shows start at 15:30). Piotr Kurek will present the premiere of Songs and Bodies, a band project that's still unmistakably Kurek. Following him, American sound artist Ka Baird collaborates with bassist Henry Fraser, trumpeter Artur Majewski, and Paulina Woś. To close, avant-garde composer Ash Fure will present her live performance Animal, combining high volume and physicality. Tickets available online and at the door – according to capacity – note, the Unsound passed do not cover this event.

After a brief break, head to the main concert hall of ICE for REFLECTION featuring Kali Malone playing her stunning album All Life Long, performed with organ, choir, and brass, alongside Stephen O'Malley and Capella Cracoviensis. Next up, Irish experimental folk band Lankum will bring their Mercury-nominated album False Lankum to the stage, blending drone and metal influences with traditional Irish folk. Last tickets available online.

Finally, Kamienna 12 opens at 21:30 for the last late-night event of the week, IMPULSE. Featuring SSRI, a new project by Saint Abdullah, Eomac, and Rebecca Salvadori titled A Forbidden Distance, along with performances by Keiji Haino, Bianca Scout, Bassvictim, AKA HEX (a debut collaboration between Aïsha Devi and Slikback) featuring bela and Lord Spikeheart, the debut b2b set from Skee Mask and Actress, Regal86, Lechuga Zafiro, including DJ /rupture, a debut b2b set from 2K88 and ojoo, Safety Trance b2b Manuka Honey, and Gummi.
