A night at the outer fringes of music starts with Dutch artist upsammy’s trippy, bass-heavy club music – as heard on PAN, Dekmantel and AD 93 – brought to life in new, intricately detailed ways in a collaboration with prolific percussionist and composer Valentina Magaletti.

South Korean artist bela will present a commissioned A/V performance of their 2024 Subtext/Unsound album Noise and Cries 굉​음​과 울음, interlacing blood-curdling death metal growls with repurposed traditional rhythms and the heady, cybernetic maximalism of queer club music. The show features light artist Theresa Baumgartner and director Lukas Feigelfeld. Following is MOPCUT, a three-headed noise behemoth made up of US-based experimental vocalist Audrey Chen, idiosyncratic French guitarist Julien Desprez and versatile percussionist Lukas König, playing with volume, length and colour. Genre's not a consideration here – it's sheer chaos. An Intervention comes from Glasgow artist Harry Górski-Brown; selected from our open call, his “noise” set incorporates dismantled, amplified and part-improvised electroacoustic Highland Bagpipes.
