Tarta Relena present És pregunta

Showcasing a performance based around their upcoming album 'És pregunta', Barcelona-based duo Tarta Relena reach across borders and eras, reimagining Mediterranean musical history and stretching the limits of the sacred and the profane. On previous records, Marta Torrella and Helena Ros have sung in Latin, Spanish, ancient and modern Greek, English and their native Catalan, interpreting poems and songs from figures such as Sappho and Hildegard von Bingen. Their latest examines the concept of tragedy, unravelling the mystery and anxiety of fate and what impact it might have on the future. Constantly experimenting with vocals, synthetic sounds and samples, Tarta Relena are crafting a modern canon of archeological treasures.
